With over five years’ experience serving in the refugee emergency stricken areas and with lived experiences of life in emergencies Innocent is a Passionate educationist and humanitarian worker.
Innocent has served as an Education coordinator at YIDA Youth Initiative, through his services, Innocent has helped many refugee children/students to keep in school, Assisted many to access scholarship opportunities, helped refugee communities (caregivers) to know the importance of educating their children, It is advocated for girl-child education.
Innocent has served as a Field Coordinator at AYAN, by this he coordinated all the projects like PathPreneur and SOLCO to better be implemented in communities to benefit the refugee communities to improve on their livelihoods and heal the hearts stricken with mental health challenges. He also advocated for communities to adapt to clean cooking energies rather than use of biomass methods that cause health complications to users.
Through these experiences, Innocent has gained leadership skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and teamwork and community engagement experiences. By these, Innocent is a collaborative, forward thinking and a willing to learn person, pays attention to details with extensive organizational skills and analytical mindset. Innocent is an organized, results-oriented professional and minds about positive and impactful delivery of services. Innocent is ready to take on new tasks and he is willing to learn and unlearn. He is compassionate on the humanitarian work at hand.
