Main Objective
To prevent and reduce gender-based violence in Nakivale Refugee Settlement by empowering refugee communities, especially women, girls, and youth, to lead transformative, culturally sensitive interventions that:
Inspire collective action and challenge harmful social norms through mobile cinema and community dialogues using visual storytelling.
Foster safe, intergenerational spaces for protection, healing, and early prevention through guided conversations between adolescent girls and their mothers or caregivers; and
Reduce stigma and promote supportive, survivor-centered behaviors through comic-based roleplay and reflection on real-life scenarios.
