
With over eight years of dedicated experience in humanitarian work, Luanda Musafiri Emmanuella is the founder and executive director of Tumaini for Refugee Women. She is a profoundly dedicated professional whose expertise is deeply rooted in the humanitarian field, complemented by her diverse skills as an Entrepreneur, Business Trainer, Business Coach, Mentor, and Public Speaker.
Under Luanda’s visionary leadership, the organization has developed and implemented a diverse range of programs designed to address the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations, encompassing women, young girls, children, and youth. These impactful initiatives focus heavily on women and young girls empowerment, advocating for women’s rights, and comprehensive programs for gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response. The organization also prioritizes essential services like mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for both adults and children, alongside child protection, education, and health, successfully fostering resilience and self-sufficiency among all participants.
