Sarah is a dedicated MHPSS project Team Lead with over 6 years of experience in managing mental health and psychosocial support programs in humanitarian and refugee contexts, she specialises in leading teams to deliver school and community-based interventions that promote wellbeing, resilience and protection for displaced populations.
Sarah has extensive experience in coordinating with community leaders, protection actors and international NGOs to ensure safety, accessible and quality MHPSS services. Her leadership focuses on strengthening case management systems and building the capacity to frontline staff through rights -based approaches.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in development studies with specialised training in multiple psychological interventions such as TeamUp, ReachNow tool, Early Adolescent Skills of Emotions (EASE), BeThere methodologies and psychological First Aid (PFA). Very passionate about empowering communities, supporting staff wellbeing and ensuring that MHPSS programming meets the highest global standards.
